Last night me and the other half – who, in keeping with Jemma’s ‘LOG’ shall be referred to in code from now on – let’s say Mr G – took a trip to the Junction in Cambridge to see the Pigeon Detectives. It was an MTV spanking new music do so we also caught a bit of the Rascals which was a bonus!

Some dozy mare (moi) forgot her camera so unfortunately I have no photos at all, however you’re not likely to want to see the sweaty mess that was me at the end of the night after much pogo-ing.

So were they good? They were brilliant – the lead singer was a complete nutcase. I think every single item of his clothing ended up in the crowd as the night progressed. I was nearly hit in the head with a shoe! The whole show was full of energy and the crowd absolutely loved it. Even the new stuff, that no-one knew, went down well. So…. moral of the story, if you can catch these guys do it – awesome!

Now if only I win those Radio 1 big weekend tickets………
