This is myself and Chelle at the BMF Peterborough with a lovely guy from the Magpas stand, our neighbours for the weekend! Magpas saved this mans life after a near fatal bike accident on this bike…..

Magpas are an emergency medical charity, who have been saving lives across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough for 35 years, and are widely recognised as the leading charity of its kind in the UK.

The Emergency medical Team are called out 5 times a day on average and their Doctors and Paramedics are specially trained and equipped to bring A&E quality treatment to the scenes of horrific road traffic accidents. They have 60 volunteer doctors, and they also have helicopters to help them get to the scene of the accidents fast!

Magpas are solely reliant on support from the public, and after hearing some of the touching stories of peoples lives they have saved i wanted to help spread the word. I’ve also nominated Magpas for one of our ‘Dress down’ proceeds next year so hopefully we will raise enough to help save some more lives!
