>It’s been a while since we’ve posted anything about our honorary babe Sarah, here’s a quick review of her start to the season so far…
The opening two rounds of the GT Cup took place at Silverstone where she campaigned her new Adrian Flux BMW z4 M Coupe in class 3. In practice on Saturday morning she got off to a flying start, running quickest in her class by a clear two seconds a lap!
In her first race on Sunday afternoon Sarah started extremely well, finishing 4th in the class. She also made a brilliant start in the second race, leading class three for the first half of the race until a lock up into Abbey resulted in a 360 degree spin, causing her to drop to 6th place. Despite making up a few places Sarah then encountered a second spin on some oil. Not one to give up she chased the back of the pack and managed to grab 8th in class (not quite last!)
“Not the result I was hoping for, but the good news is the car is fabulous, and this weekend has been a success in terms of getting to grips with the new car and how reliable it has been”
